About Theo

When you grow up in a family involved in residential construction, and at the age of 6 entertain yourself by mixing cement and asbestos, it is hard to escape the real estate gene in your DNA.

After a successful career in marketing and mobile communications, Theo decided to return to his “routes” and enter the real estate profession in 2003.

Licensed as an Associate Broker in Virginia and D.C., Theo has helped clients sell and buy homes in McLean and throughout the D.C. metro area.

His commitment to professional development has led him to take hundreds of hours of real estate training and earn multiple industry designations including Accredited Buyer Representative, Accredited Staging Professional, LEED Green Associate, EcoBroker Certified, and NAR’s Green Designation.

Theo believes it is important for a client to be familiar with the details of buying & selling real estate therefore he tries to educate his clients about the process, and give them an insider’s view, so they always feel comfortable about the decisions they are making. Proactive and cautious he ensures every detail is covered so nothing goes wrong with your transaction.

Theo has extensive experience working with First Time Home Buyers as well as Buyers relocating to Northern Virginia and D.C.

He blogs in his D.C. area green real estate blog, Propertylicious, and over the years he has built McLeanHouse.com into the most extensive resource for McLean, VA Homes.

A personal note

Simply put, I love homes. All kinds of homes. Condos, townhouses, single family homes, custom or prefab… you name it. I also have strong opinions about what the role of a modern real estate professional should be. I believe my role is to help people; to advise you and assist you in your home sale or purchase, not to “sell” you anything. I judge my success by the satisfaction level of each client, not by the number of homes one sells every year. I believe in quality, not quantity.Theodore Theologis

I make a point of being accessible to my clients throughout the day, and communicate with them all information and updates promptly. Furthermore, you can feel comfortable to ask anything. In a real estate transaction no question is a dumb question.

I currently live in McLean. I have also lived in D.C.’s Cleveland Park neighborhood, Arlington’s Rosslyn neighborhood, Reston, and in the City of Falls Church where I still own property. In the past I have also owned properties in Falls Church, VA and Orlando, FL.

If you are planning to purchase or sell a home, it is never too early to enroll my assistance. Involving me from the beginning will save you time and simplify your decision making process. I always recommend an initial in-person consultation (or a phone call if relocating) to discuss how we can work together. A real estate transaction should be fun, without stress or pressure. If you agree, please contact me today.

I look forward to helping you!

Sincerely,

Theo
